Dominik Loroch

Dominik Loroch studied electrical engineering in Dresden. Since 2016 he is scientific staff at Fraunhofer ITWM in Kaiserslautern. He is working on various topics surrounding AI, specifically deep learning, compression techniques for DNNs, DNN accelerator hardware and neural architecture search. In 2021, he participated together with the RPTU Kaiserslautern in the BMBF competition for energy efficient AI systems and won first place in the category for FPGAs. With the medical company Getemed and the university hospital Charite in Berlin, they are continuing to develop the technology.
